Chełm Land

Chełm Land (Polish: Ziemia Chełmska, Ukrainian: Холмщина) is a historical ziemia region in eastern Poland. In the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, it was a small part of the Ruthenian Voivodeship, completely separated from the main lands of the voivodship by the Bełz Voivodeship. The region's most important town was Chełm.
